Description
The Wind and Solar Power Generation Trainer is designed for hands-on experiments to demonstrate how wind and solar power energy can be used to generate another form of energy.
In the solar power part of the system solar energy is transformed into electric energy using solar-cell panels. Such electrical energy is stored in a battery during day time and can be used for lighting during night time. One of the advantages of solar photovoltaic technology is that it needs no cable installations.
Electricity is stored in a high-capacity battery. Solar panels consist of single-crystal silicon cells. The system is equipped with an inverter, charging controller and high-voltage generator.
The wind power generator transforms wind energy into electricity. Wind power generator performance may be monitored for output current, power, temperature, wind speed, battery voltage, load current, etc. using a software run by a computer (not supplied).
