Description
This equipment is used for measurement of shear force and bending moment in a beam from which comparison with theoretical values can be made.
The beam has two parts with one part having ball bearings travel on vertical surface of the other part, an overhung spring balance for measuring the shear force, and an under-hanging spring balance for measuring bending moment are provided. The beam rests on two roller supports. Load hangers and weights slide along the beam.
