Description
Designed to determine impact resistance to fracture of low carbon steels, alloy steels, and nonferrous materials using the Charpy method. The machine is constructed with a heavy base and support columns, which makes it sturdy and stable during the test. The pendulum is hung on ball bearings. The hammer is lifted using an electric motor coupled to a worm-gear speed-reducer. The capacity of the machine can be exchanged by changing the hammer. It has two capacities; 150J (Nm) and 300J (Nm).
